ARTEVO offers strong thermal and structural potential, but the right build-up depends on sash format. A small window rarely needs the most elaborate catalogue configuration; a large sash, on the other hand, deserves a separate check of glass, reinforcement and hardware.

ARCHITECTURAL USE

Where this system makes sense.

According to REHAU: air permeability up to class 4, watertightness up to 9A and burglary resistance up to RC3; exact classifications depend on size and configuration.

RAU-FIPRO X instead of excessive steel reinforcement

Glass-fibre reinforced composite increases profile rigidity and allows many configurations to reduce conventional steel reinforcement. This matters for larger sashes and heavier high-performance glazing.

ARTEVO max for maximum thermal performance

The max version adds REHAU LowE profile technology. REHAU publishes Uf values down to 0.79 W/m²K and Uw down to 0.61 W/m²K for a defined triple-glazed configuration.

Contemporary geometry and more daylight

Narrow and flush sash options are available, while KALEIDO COVER can add an aluminium exterior shell for a more restrained architectural appearance.

Barrier-free thresholds

The RAUCERO 0 mm threshold enables level transitions. The final detail still depends on correct substrate preparation, waterproofing and drainage.

ENGINEERING

The profile is only one part of the window.

For ARTEVO we do not stop at the profile Uf value. Sash geometry, glass inertia, setting blocks, hardware, fixing points and inner glass-edge temperatures all matter. Large elements are checked separately to determine whether composite-only or additional steel reinforcement is appropriate.
